A year of outrageously entertaining quizzes concluded with a final showdown last night, drawing teams from Northern Buller and beyond in an all-out race for glory.
Dressed to impress, in the theme of Glitz and Glamour, 5 teams battled it out over the course of an evening, littered with spot prizes, belly laughter and memory recall that kept even the best and brightest on their toes.
Hosted by Nothern Buller's favourite Quizmaster and self-styled head scratcher Martin Terry, assisted by amateur photographer Nicki Banks, the pair of community-minded locals (who first met at a quiz) have extended their pursuit of the obscure and trivial to a local audience. Their quiz events drawing a growing number of like-minded nerds, general knowledge aficionados and fact-junkies to what has become a staple monthly event in The Lyric Theatre calendar.
